Named after Leonardo da Vinci - an icon of creative thinking through diverse disciplines such as art, engineering, conservation and philosophy - the Awards recognize and celebrate those that have created new, useful and positive inventions, developments or improvements in any of the following categories:
- Arts
- Business
- Entrepreneurship
- Education.
This Festival celebrates Leonardo's 554rd birthday in his workshop and featured Leonardo himself, TafelMusik, an Opera Singer, dancing from the period and live art. A big hit with the kids was creating massive puzzles of Leonardo’s masterpieces.
