I attended your fabulous festival this evening with my 4 year old son. It is Friday evening and although I know you will not get this email until Monday, I am so wired that I just have to write to you.
I was so inspired by this evening’s events. It made me feel so alive and excited for the future and all its possibilities. I feel so motivated to get out there and experiment, take risks and aim to fulfill all my wishes and dreams. There was so much positive energy in the room that I am sure other were inspired as well.

In 1490, Leonardo da Vinci dreamt of a human powered ornithopter. Today, his dream is becoming a reality.
Professor James Delaurier of the University of Toronto Institute for Aerospace and Project Ornithopter Inc. spoke about the full-scale ornithopter design and plans for bringing da Vinci's dream back to Italy after 500 years. He also shared the development of this truly creative and scientific exploration, the challenges in the ground take-off of a flapping-wing aircraft, the design and construction and the successes of their runway tests.
An eight foot long model of the Ornithopter "Flapper" was on display outside the theatre. It was a true celebration of creativity and the human spirit with a deep sense of history, wonder and inspiration.
